66016 "You are all dead"; the Eleventh Hour, part 1 - Eleventh Hour

Hacklor, Jaonos, Faraduhn, Little Crow, Zaldar have been given a new assignment by General Killian.
He promotes Galik, Iz, Tiny Crow, Tharbek and Oris to officers and adds them to team Fairuza.

Their next mission is to Refuge, to find the Eye of Urganon and the Chance Lance, a lance needed to free Thirza Shenzaan

• When the PC’s arrive at Refuge, the Architect is already their, transforming a former pizza tower to a “bubble entry device”
• The PC’s are attacked by 3 Purple Wurms that can throw fireballs. When one is mortally wounded, the others escape. Tiny Crow hears them mourning for their sister
• The Architect fires the PCs using a Pizza Tower Cannon into the bubble surrounding Refuge.
• When in the bubble, the PCs arrive in a “white space” where they see an elderly lady. She asks the PCs to “Come find her”
• 11:00 The PCs arrive on the outskirts of Refuge. Fairuza is gone, but Thirza has taken her place. Confusion ensues
• A suite of armour filled with red clay and a bird on top comes to the PC’s. He introduces themselves as “Roswell”
• 11:10 Roswell escorts the group to the sherifs office to meet with Sherif Isaac, who should be back at the office later this afternoon.
• 11:15 Outside, people are thrown out of the Inn. Roswell goes to investigate and others the PCs to stay put. Obviously most of them do not listen.
• In the office, there is a woman is afraid the PCs are “Gerblins”. After some comments from Thirza, this woman is convinced Thirza is a Gherblin and advices every one to stay away from Thriza.
• 11:30 While Roswell was busy with the ruffians and PCs were skulking around, an earthquake happened. Helpington’s, the store, is hit most, with the front framing collapsing forward. A lot of stuff has fallen down
• Most of the PCs help out at Helpingtons.
• Iz, who has taken the sherif’s coat and taken a human form, goes into The Davy Lamp, local inn. There he meets Ren, the wizardly owneresss who happily helps “James” with some information, like the local currency being diamonds and the town motto is “By their sacrifice, we are kept safe”.
• 11:45 An explosion is heard at the Bank. A fire at the bank spreads. The PCs head out to help, two PCs are outside at the lookout if anyone escapes. No one is seen escaping. Some people with Purple handkerchiefs are seen dead on the ground. The vault was not opened.
• Thirza is using her powers over fire to douse the flames. Tharbek is helping getting people out. 
• 12:00 The clock tower strikes 12:00. A small explosion is heard in the distance, then a crack opens up underneath town and fire explodes out. Everyone dies.
• The PCs end up back into the White Space with the Old Lady. She says “Wel that didn’t go so well. You should try harder next time”
• The group avoids Roswell and goes straight to quarry.
• 11:05 The group arrives at the quarry and open the locked gate. They go down the quarry, but find the entrance has been caved in.
• 11:15 The group splits up (“We are all gonna die anyway!”):
  • Iz “James” went to the large manor, believing they would have a key to the quarry. He convinced the butler to get the quarry keys and succeeded.
  • Tiny Crow went to talk to Roswell. ???
  • Thirza went to the bank and set down to see what would happen.
• 11:20
  • Galik went to see Paloma. She knew who Galik was. For some amount of gems, Paloma will hand out prophecies.
    • 11:30 a single large prophecy fell, without payment. A terrible planet made of metal and oil was seen. “Two options are shown, but remember, there is always a third option”.
  • Tharbek went to see the Ruined Temple. In a cave beyond the Temple, he found Luca. Luca is a former Priest and currently a skeleton. Ever since his temple collapsed, he has been a skeleton and has been observing the people of refuge from a far.
• 11:40 Thirza sees the owner of Helpingtons come in, to secure his cash. Also a drow woman enters.
